Lydia Hall is a video editor, colorist and photographer based in Highland Park, Los Angeles. She was the lead video editor for two documentaries on racial justice and equality, the lead video editor on a marketing team for brand content in the filmmaking industry and the lead colorist on a narrative feature filmed in the Grand Canyon, as well as editing several short films and social media content. She is an environmental, food and event photographer for brand identity and storytelling. Lydia uses a wide array of visual storytelling techniques for inclusive, equitable social change and always loves to learn more. Her work tells a naturally authentic story, organizing the complexity of the issues while also seeking sustainable solutions that truly benefit everyone. Growing up in a small town in upstate New York, where farm to table food culture was the norm, ignited her curiosity to ask questions and explore the environments around her. Lydia is very interested in climate change science and advocating for natural carbon sequestration solutions, like regenerative agriculture and more. She earned a BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, MD and after loving those 4 years, she moved to Los Angeles in 2015 to dive into filmmaking and visual storytelling.
